Insert video from Stream (Sharepoint) to PowerPoint

I'd like to insert a video from Stream Sharepoint into my slides, but says couldn't recognise the address.
Is there anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance!

Hi @Daniel Wang

Based on my tests, at current time, Stream on SharePoint is not supported to be inserted into PowerPoint as online videos.

Stream (Classic) videos are supported, but Microsoft Stream (Classic) will be retired February 15, 2024 and replaced by Stream (on SharePoint).

Stream for SharePoint seems like a glorified content filter to isolate video files. It is missing the auto-generated and searchable transcript, forms cannot be integrated into videos, users can’t upload new versions of videos, there are no channels or playlists, users cannot comment or interact with videos, etc. If this functionality isn’t built into stream for SharePoint, it is going to be a disaster for our teams as we rely on these features to maintain our training and knowledge program.

Also, will stream classic content libraries be automatically converted to the new version or is this another thing we have to do manually? If the conversion will be manual, we may need to seek less volatile external solutions. The value of 365 tools and products is their seamless integration and cross compatibility, but if that convenience comes with the risk of losing all the content created with these tools when they are updated, it may be safer to craft custom solutions using more stable external resources.
