Hello Team,

I am not able to access my free account in azure and getting the issue which has details as below :-

"Check the info you entered. It does not match the info on the card" and it highlights the name section in red and the other fields are highlighted in red in the boundary .

Note:- I have tried with multiple debit cards and credit cards but still the same issue. Can anyone please suggest any solution to this or any point of contact/team from azure who could help in resolving this issue?

    Hi Indrajit,

Here are possible issues to the cause of your error message.

Please double check, and make sure none of the issues presented below is causing problem:

Typing error: Double-check that you entered the credit card information correctly, including the card number, expiration date, CVV code, and the name on the card. Even a small typo or mistake can result in the error message.

Address mismatch: Ensure that the billing address you provided matches the address associated with your credit card. The billing address you enter should match the one registered with your bank or credit card company.

Card type or issuer not supported: Azure accepts several major credit card types, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you're using a less common card type or your card issuer is not supported, you may encounter this error. Check Azure's documentation or contact their support to verify the accepted card types and issuers.

Bank restrictions: In some cases, your bank may have imposed restrictions on online transactions or placed a hold on your card for security reasons. Reach out to your bank's customer service to confirm that there are no restrictions on your card and that it can be used for online purchases.

International transactions: If you are attempting to set up an Azure account from a different country than the one associated with your credit card, your bank might be blocking the transaction as a security measure. Contact your bank to ensure that international transactions are allowed.

    1. Temporary technical issue: Occasionally, there can be temporary issues with Azure's payment processing system. If none of the above reasons apply and you are confident that the information entered is correct, try again after some time or contact Azure support for assistance.

If you still have issues with signing up for free account after double checking potential causes listed above, please contact Azure Support directly using the steps below:

Go to the Azure portal (portal.azure.com) and sign in with your Azure account credentials.

Once you're signed in, click on the "Help + Support" button located in the top-right corner of the Azure portal.

In the Help + Support pane, you'll see various options. Click on the "New support request" button.

On the "Create support request" page, you'll be prompted to provide some details about your issue. Fill in the required information, including the subscription, issue type, severity level, and a brief description of the problem.

After filling in the necessary information, click on the "Next" button.

On the next page, you'll have the option to choose your preferred contact method. Azure provides options such as phone, chat, or email support, depending on your subscription level and availability in your region. Select the contact method that works best for you.

Once you've selected your preferred contact method, provide any additional details requested on the page.

    1. Click on the "Create" or "Submit" button to submit your support request.

    Thanks
