Wifi is mostly working fine but it says no internet access

Evan Stiverson 0 Reputation points

For a couple of months now, my Wi-Fi has been working fine, except it says it has no internet access. It wasn't a big deal to me until I wanted to get a game on the Xbox app. Now, I've realized that I can't use Microsoft apps like Xbox, Microsoft Store, widgets, or log into games like Minecraft.

Hello, To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Restart your router and modem. Unplug them from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug them back in.
    2. Check if your Wi-Fi adapter is working properly. Go to Device Manager, expand the Network adapters section, and check if there are any yellow exclamation marks next to your Wi-Fi adapter. If there are, right-click on the adapter and select Update driver.
    3. Reset your network settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. This will reset all your network settings to their default values.
    4. Disable your firewall temporarily. Sometimes, firewalls can block certain apps from accessing the internet. Try disabling your firewall temporarily and see if it resolves the issue.
