Unfortunately I could not install SQL server 2019! I'm starting to believe that I have to reinstall the Windows system altogether?

How to solve this problem?
The following error has occurred: The MOF compiler could not connect with the WMI server. This is either because of a semantic error such as an incompatibility with the existing WMI repository or an actual error such as the failure of the WMI server to start.

He had messed up his machine a little bit, so (re-)installation of SQL 2019 failed with something related to MOF compiler. When he tried SQL 2022, that worked just fine.

This error is usually caused by the previous failed installation of SQL Server that has not been completely uninstalled. You need to completely uninstall the previous failed installation first.
