Greetings!

I'm new here in SSIS, i used Derived Column in my package.

Once i run the package, it gives 2 columns that i need in the Derived Column, but when i edit the Derived Column with a new column, it keeps giving 2 columns instead of 3 columns.

    Hi @Madonna,

First please check that if you are using replace column in Derived Column.

If you are using add a new column, please try to remove Derived Column and re-add the Derived Column for a try.

    Regards,

    Hi @Madonna,

You need to go to the Derived Column Transformation Editor, and configure Derived Column as '<add as a new column>' instead of 'Replace ...'. Please see below.
