Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.
Sorry, I don't have a D365 connector to reproduce the issue from my end.
But the error message suggests an incorrect attribute value type (System.String) is used.
And as per the below thread, to load data into a multi-select choice field in Dynamics 365 via ADF, Multi-select choice fields in Dynamics 365 require a semi-column separated list of values, and each is enclosed in double quotes.
Can you please validate this?

loading data like this via ADF "964120000;964120001;964120002;964120003" . Still getting same error. -

Did you manage to find a solution for this issue? I'm running into the same problem trying to load data from ADF to Dynamics CRM.
I tried loading the data in various different formats (with double quotes, without, just one value) but nothing works.
