About replacing data in a table in a dedicated sql pool using dpipeline.

I would like to replace the data in a table in a dedicated sql pool using synapse's pipeline.

The file contains the old and new code that I want to replace with a specific store_cd.

The data in the table is the dealer_cd_old one.

I would like to replace this with the value of dealer_cd_new, is there any way to do this?

I want to delete this value of dealer_cd_old in the table.

Could you please help share the schema of your sink Dedicated SQL table? Do you just want to replace the value of your dealer_cd column or you would also like to update the column name as well?

how big is your table? if small, can you try dropping that one col you don't want and adding the new col name?

ALTER TABLE table_name DROP COLUMN column_name;

ALTER TABLE table_name ADD column_name datatype;

post this you can insert the rows into the new column as you usually do for a normal sql table. update here if you found any other easy method for this.

I would like to read the values to be changed in a file and make the changes automatically by running pipeline, rather than executing the query myself.
