All our users use "Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise - en-us" click-to-run - some 64bit, others 32bit

Is there a way to identify which user/device has which version installed by querying data that may be registrered in Intune/Azure/M365/other?

I have the requirement to push out an Outlook plugin via Intune, but the plugin comes in two flavours (32bit & 64bit) depending on which version of Office is installed.

Trying to find the info via a WMI query or similar is dependant on the machine being on, which is mean many machines will be missed at the time of query.

Looking for the best way to approach this scenario

Thanks in advance

@Matt Pollock Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

From intune's point of view, there is no method to identify whether the 32-bit or 64-bit edition of Microsoft 365 Apps has installed in the devices.

However, when I check in the official article, it shows that you can install the 32-bit version on both 32-bit and 64-bit devices, but you can install the 64-bit version on 64-bit devices only.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-add-office365#step-2---option-1-configure-app-suite-using-the-configuration-designer

Based on my understanding, maybe we can deploy 32-bit version to all devices.
