Sudden connection performance degredation

Hi,

We have an Azure VM running Windows 2016 with SSIS installed. We retrieve and write data multiple times per day rom om-premise servers to an Azure SQL Server.

Since tuesday morning, queries coming from 2 specific servers (Oracle) and to the SQL-Server timeout after 10 minutes, sometimes only writing 100's of records, or 0 in some cases.

Running these packages from visual studio (Same source and destination) the performance is OK.

We think the issue is somewhere in the line between the VM and the SQL server, or something happening within SSIS. We checked most performance measures, but could not find any indicator of problems.

We are out of ideas at the moment and our org has been without data for ome days now.

Happy to answer any questions of course!
