Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.
I understand that you would like to migrate from a third party DNS service provider to Azure for DNS Management.
Unfortunately, at present, there are no direct integration available to import a DNS zone from a vendor.
However, importing from a .txt file is supported.
Refer : Import a DNS zone file into Azure DNS
Make sure you go through
So the steps involved would be,
- Export the Zone records to a .txt file from your DNS provider.
- Please refer to their documentation or any wikis/forums of the third party
- I found this : Export my domain's zone file records, please verify yourself once.
- Post this,
- Follow the CLI commands here : CLI format and values
- Please note, Azure DNS supports importing and exporting zone files via the Azure CLI only. Importing zone files via Azure PowerShell or the Azure portal is not supported currently.
- Verify the zone from Portal or Verify zone commands
- Then delegate the DNS Domain to Azure
- For GoDaddy Edit my domain nameservers
Kindly let us know if this helps or you need further assistance on this issue.
Thanks,
Kapil
