sharepoint pdf viewer mobile zoom problem

Hello,

My organization is using sharpoint to share many documents with people outside the organization.

Everything worked fine until recently.

Now I have problem with pdfs being zoomed in even on the minimum zoom level when viewed on a phone(default sharepoint file viewer). Everything works fine on desktop.

Is there some setting to fix this, maybe it's some kind of aspect ratio issue.

It 's really annoying, you have to scroll every page in pdf left and right.

Hi @A Falc,

I tested your problem in my side and my PDF files are not zoomed (My SharePoint App Version is 4.49.0). This issue is related to your mobile phone model and SharePoint App version. I'm sorry there is no way to set the viewer of the PDF files at the moment. Maybe you can change the version of SharePoint App or use a different model of phone. For your question, I have checked a lot of information and no relevant settings are about the zoomed issue of PDF documents. My colleagues and I have tried different mobiles, bowsers and PDF files. Unfortunately, we tried many scenarios but still could not reproduce your problem and solve it. If this issue affects you a lot, then I advise you to take a service support for more help.

Hi @A Falc,

I'm sorry I misunderstood your question earlier. I have reproduced your problem that when I open the file in preview the file is zoomed. Are you also opening the file in preview?

If so, I'm sorry that currently SharePoint doesn't have any settings to change the preview of files. I suggest you click on the file to open it directly or select... Click Open afterwards. This is a more appropriate way to open the file and you will not have the problem of the file being zoomed.
