Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime Installed on June 5, 2023-
My Windows 11 PC suddenly wouldn’t allow me to sign in using my PIN..
After I input my pin and clicked enter, I received an error message that said something like: Too Many failed attempts. Keep PC on for 2 hours and try again.
1.) That did not help as after 2 hours I got the same message,
2.) To get into my PC, I restarted and clicked I forgot my PIN option.
3.) I entered my password and canceled the PIN change.
I looked up with Bing- what happened.
I checked the Windows Event Viewer
The Event Viewer says- I had 35,020 Audit Success(es) Between 1:25:20 PM through 2:02:15 PM.
This has been occurring since 7AM-ish this morning.
.
One of these had listed the problem was incompatible drivers.
I found the
LBAI.sys (Lenovo)
Import Date: 11/29/2022
Driver Date: 3/26/2023
Driver Version: 1.0.0.8
Published Name: oem92.inf
I scanned my C: Drive and found the INF file- Dated 11/29/2022.
------
Next I checked to see if there were any updates yesterday or this morning- There were none.
I checked for programs and found two, One from June 4, yesterday and one from June 5, this morning.
June 4 is Microsoft Edge 114.0.1823.37
June 5 is Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime 114.0.1823.37.
This is where I am at.
Before I try anything and possible accidentally damage/ destroy my PC, I decide to reach out for help/
Help, please.
I have many screen shots if anyone would need them to look into this. Thank you in advance.
