The connection to the server was successfully established, but an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - This certificate chain is issued by an untrusted authority.)

Login failed for user 'DESKTOP-IGIUBK4\yaolin'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)

Both instances of MMSQLSERVER in the configuration are enabled, but the SQL Agent shuts down automatically after running.

What could be the reason for the login failure?

If you can understand Chinese, it would be better if you can answer me in Chinese. Thank you!

    Hi @zhuang yaolin

Please troubleshoot follow by this tech doc: The certificate received from the remote server was issued by an untrusted certificate authority error when you connect to SQL Server.

    Best regards,
