Can't link certification profile

Question

I have a learn profile under my work email, I've successfully linked it to my personal email.

I have a certification profile (Certiport/Pearsonvue) - this uses my work email (as above).

I have taken a M365 Office Specialist exam, and have the certificate in Certiport.

When I go to my Learn profile, and try to link my certification profile - I still get the following error message, despite already aligning the accounts.

I have also checked and my name is written the exact same way in both accounts.
