How to require credentials for any network shared folder?

Our network has few shared folders that only specific groups can access it,

I would like to be able accessing them with specific credentials even when I'm logged in to a user that has NO ACCESS to this folder.

For example:

User A has access to "General" folder > Sub folders are "Team A" and "Team B"

User A has access to "Team A" only, so, as an administrator, I would like to be able using his computer with user logged in, reach to the same path X:\General\Team B and have UAC pop up to enter admin credentials and be able access the folder.

How can it be done if the folder located on Windows Server 2019 machine?

    Hi,

Did you tried the option under Windows Explorer - Connect Using diff credentials? Check the option and you should be able to map the drive using your admin creds.
