How to connect SAP ByD with Data Factory using SAP HANA

Hello Everyone,

I understand that SAP Business ByDesign uses SAP HANA as its primary database. Azure Data Factory also provides a connector for interfacing with SAP HANA. Therefore, I am wondering, could I use this connector to access SAP Business ByDesign data through SAP HANA?

Unfortunately, I do not have SAP instance to test this use case scenario (connecting to SAP Business ByDesign using ADF SAP HANA Connector). I doubt if it is possible as it may have it's own prerequisite that needs to be met, but feel free to give a try using SAP HANA connector and see if you are able to establish the connection and get the data.

Note: An important point to consider here is, since it is not tested officially by ADF product team and not mentioned in the public documentation, even though by chance if it's possible to use SAP HANA connector to fetch SAP Business ByDesign data, it is not recommended to use in Production workloads as it may result in issues which may not be supported by MSFT until it is officially tested and announced by ADF product team.
