Hello,

I'm having trouble deploy chatbot here on azure. I created a resource group, within the resource group I created resource Web App and connected with Github where I have the project. Then I created Azure Bot and copied the web app domain to azure bot and added the /api/messages. However, nothing is showing up.

When I do the test Web Chat nothing appears.

Can you help me?

Could you please help us with more information to understand and assist you better.

Check if the deployment was successful. You can check the deployment logs using Logs tab under deployment center of the specific deployment identify the issue as shown below.

When you are requesting the root url of the webapp what is the error message you are seeing?

If you are using bot service to develop your bot is it giving you expected results when you test it using Test in Web Chat option but deploying to app service(webapp)?

Have you looked into this tutorial on how to deploy/publish/provision bot to azure.

Are you following any documentation tutorial? If yes, could you please help us with that. Feel free to reach back to me if you have any further questions on this.

Hello,

Yes, the deploy was successful.

When I search for the WebApp domain, all my index file code appears.

When I search for the WebApp domain + /api/messages the following appears:

When I test using the Test in Web Chat option, nothing shows up.

I've watched some videos, followed some tutorials, but it's not working.

Based on the error message, it looks the webapp is not able to find the content under the physical path C:\home\site\wwwrooot\api\messages
Could you please checker whether do you have \api\message folders under wwwroot by logging from kudu console (using either from Advanced tools or by using console option under development tools).
From the source code (after hitting your webapp) looks like there is no routing

I Understand that nothing shows up in the Test in Web Chat option could you follow these troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

Thank you for helping me.

I've already put my code in the correct path: C:\home\site\wwwroot\api\messages

Now, when I search for the web app domain + /api/messages, the code from my app.js file is displayed. But I want my chatbot to show up.

When I test in Web Chat, it still doesn't show up.

This would need one on one offline support, for deeper investigations and might need to engage product team as well and I will suggest you to open a support ticket.
