We have a large number of Office 2016 standard installed (volume license). An update of Office component is required. But the new Office Deployment Tool does not this Office version. Can we downlaod the old version of ODT that support Office 2016?

    Hi, @James Lee

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

You can use the previous version of the Office Deployment Tool (ODT) to deploy Office 2016 with a volume license. The ODT version 16.0.4366.1000 supports Office 2016 deployment. You can download it from the Microsoft Download Center. For more information about how to deploy volume licensed Office 2016 using the previous version of ODT, you can refer to the article named "Use the Office Deployment Tool to install volume licensed editions of Visio 2016" on the Microsoft Learn website. The steps described in this article are also applicable to Office 2016 deployment.
