In company we run to the problem with moving laptops form SCCM to Intune. In our process we now doing whole reset of laptop with Autopilot whitegloves installation of Windows 11, but there are few users with a lot of configuration on their laptops which cost in some cases 3 man-days, so they don't want to reinstall whole system for that. Is there any migration solution for this problem? My vision is to move from configuration manager to Intune without user's notice? So we can after that just update system to Windows 11 without reinstall.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Agree with @Rahul Jindal [MVP] . For these few devices, we can follow below official articles to enroll Configuration Manager clients to Intune and switch workloads to Intune, then upgrade the devices to Windows 11 as normal. This will be a good path.

You can just migrate existing problematic computers to the Intune with GPO, but they still be dependend on Local Active Directory. You can take a risk and leave them in use after shuting down Local AD, but the login to desktop will then happened based only on cached credentials and will be unmanaged.
