Could you please explain more details for us to understand better?

1. What is the os version of the computer or server you are running? You could type winver into cmd and check the OS version
2. When did you get the error message? Is there any specific products or application that the registration used for?
   It will be more appreciated if you could share us with the detailed steps you performed or the guidance link you referred to.

We need to verify if it is a system related or application related issue.
