We have been slowly rolling out Office 365 apps for enterprise for probably a year now and so far the deployment has been rock-solid reliable. but in the last few weeks we are seeing a 25% failure rate on the installs.. i am looking for information on how to troubleshoot, log locations, tips etc.

Here is a screenshot of some of the errors we are seeing in config manager. i did Notice that version 2303 is a way smaller download than version 2301 was, by nearly 1GB. i tried redownloading and it came back down as the same size so i assume that MS just optimized the size somehow.

    Hi, @jaybird283

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the error codes you have shared, it appears that the most common issue you are facing with the deployment of Office 365 apps is download failures. In order to troubleshoot this issue, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check the log files: When Office 365 apps fail to install, Configuration Manager logs the error codes and additional details. Reviewing these logs can often provide insight into the root cause of the failure. You can find more information about the log files to check in the Troubleshooting tips for application deployments article.
    2. Check network connectivity: Ensure that you have reliable network connectivity. A loss of connectivity can cause Office 365 app deployment to fail. Ensure that the client machines are able to reach Microsoft Update or your Configuration Manager distribution points.
    3. Check the download settings: In some cases, Office 365 apps may not download if there are issues with the server or if the download settings in Configuration Manager are not properly configured. Ensure that the download settings are properly configured and that the server is functioning correctly.
    4. Check disk space and permissions: Ensure that client machines have enough free disk space to install the apps. Additionally, check that user accounts have sufficient permissions to install software on client machines.

    Hello,

    Have you checked this?

Are you using the same XML config file to all your devices? Have you tried install it manually? Is there any existing MSI MS Office?
