The methods I tried to solve this problem but did not get any results;

1-BIOS update

2-Plugging the HDD into a different port on the motherboard

3-CMD commands;

a- manage-bde –unlock X: -RecoveryPassword XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX- XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX (doesn't accept password)

b- manage-bde -unlock X: -password (Does not accept password) ( The password failed to unlock volume E: )

c- repair-bde C: D: -rp 111111-222222-333333-444444-555555-666666-777777-888888 (with this command you are trying to transfer locked C drive to D using 48 digit RecoveryPassword. But D drive size is C I couldn't continue this process when it was less than . I could probably recover the files this way, but I couldn't continue the process.)

4- You can access the drive using the M3 Bitlocker Recovery program, but the process takes an incredibly long time. Bitlocker password is accepted through this program. While scanning, I interrupted the process and tried to recover some of the scanned files, but it did not work. Sometimes the program closed by itself.

5- Hasleo Bitlocker Reader. It doesn't open the drive.

6- EaseUS Data Recovery. When I try to enter the drive through this program, it does not accept the requested password.

7- Upgraded Windows 10 to 11, still no positive results

I just haven't tried the HDD on another computer at the moment.

Can anyone share a different solution?

Thanks.

    Hello there,

    Which version of Windows are you using? Home edition of Windows won't support BitLocker and you won't be able to use it.

    How long are you facing this issue? I can see that you have tried most of the troubleshooting steps.

    Have you made any recent updates that you are aware of on this device? If so try uninstalling them and check if this sorts out the issue

    A few common causes include outdated drivers, bugs in your Windows that make BitLocker unavailable, and the difference in the encryption algorithm as well as your Windows versions.
