Seeking Help with WebXR: Issues Entering 3D WebXR Space on HoloLens 2
I am reaching out to the WebXR community for assistance with an issue I am experiencing while trying to enter the 3D WebXR space on my HoloLens 2 device. Here are the steps I have taken:
- I installed the Immersive Web Emulator plugin on the Edge browser of my HoloLens 2 device.
- I visited the WebXR - Samples (immersive-web.github.io) website, and the result showed: "Your browser implements the WebXR API and may be able to run Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality experiences if you are using a supported OS and the appropriate hardware. - VR support detected - AR support detected."
- I selected and entered "Hit test with anchors." However, when I clicked "START AR," I did not enter the 3D WebXR space. Instead, I landed on a new page where all I could see was a gray background, a white grid, and a green ring at the center of my view.
Could you please provide guidance on how I can configure my settings to successfully enter the 3D WebXR space? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
and After I remove the emulator on my Edge browser, in https://immersive-web.github.io/webxr-samples/ it inform me that "- AR support not detected". And the button in "Hit Test with Anchors" is named as "AR NOT FOUND"
After I enable incubations in Edge browser of my HL2, it still dosen't work! hahaha!
Now I have download the bata version of adge for hololens from here(https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/download/beta?platform=hololens2), but it still showed "AR support not detected" in https://immersive-web.github.io/webxr-samples/
I suspect that the new version of Edge may not be compatible with WebXR on Hololens. I would like to ask if anyone knows where to download a previous version of the Edge browser that is compatible with WebXR for Hololens?
