Server 2016 Install fails Error 0x80070570 on vcenter

Hi everyone,

Here's a troublesome question : I'm trying to create a windows server 2016 template on VMWare VCSA (vcenter) and i keep running into the same error, no matter what I do, the error is 0x80070570 (windows cannont install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.).

Firstly, I thought the file is really corrupted so I downloaded anouther ISO...but still not working.

Secondly : I tried the last downloaded ISO on Virtualbox and it works fine.

Thirdly : I tried it also with VMWare Workstation, on Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows (11) - at home - and it worked fine too.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to Vcenter logs...But what can I do to make it work on vcenter ?

    Hello there,

    For several users Resetting Windows Update components manually had helped.

    Try resetting the Windows Update Agent by running these commands from an elevated command prompt:
