I am using Azure VIrtual Desktop with two multi-sessions. User profiles are managed by Azure Files. However, when some users log in, the message "C:\Users\XXX\Documents cannot be accessed. You specified a device that does not exist" is displayed, and all folders and files cannot be accessed. I can fix it by signing out and signing in, but do you know the cause?

    @Noriko

    The VHD metadata seems to be corrupted due to the copying of the Windows VM user profile data (VHD) on Azure to the Azure Files user profile data? I would suggest opening a support ticket with AVD support team as this may be a case of unsupported scenario.

    If this does answer your question, please accept it as the answer as a token of appreciation
