I have seen this before. Two things;
- Make sure your Windows OS is up-to-date
- Try to delete and re-create the assignment with new grace period.

I try to use the "restart grace period" in Intune on an Win32 app, but it is not working as intended.
I try to use the "restart grace period" in Intune on an Win32 app, but it is not working as intended.
The client receive the restart notification/pop-up, but it is stating that the computer will restart in -2147483648 minutes, although i have configured in Intune that "Device restart grace period" is 60 minutes. "Select when to display the restart countdown dialog box before the restart occurs" is set to 50 minutes. "Allow user to snooze the restart notification" is set to "NO".
Seems like this only happens if i click on "Pick a time" on the restart toast notification. Looks like the countdown get messed up.
The reboot itself works fine (i have "Device restart behavior" set to "Intune will force a mandatory device restart"), but the notification is very strange.
Any solution to this? Seems a bit "unfinished" functionality to me.

Tested on a Windows 10 machine now. When i click on "Pick a time" or "Defer", nothing happens on Windows 11. On Windows 10, this works like a charm, and the final reboot notification is also correct.
Clearly a Windows 11 problem. Guess the solution is to "not have Windows OS up-to-date" in this case ..
I've had this issue for months and it's happening on both Windows 11 and Windows 10. Were there any updates to this?
We are experiencing this. I worked with Microsoft and confirmed this is a bug in the Intune Management Extension. Technical details here: https://asherjebbink.medium.com/your-device-will-restart-in-2147483648-minutes
Microsoft will address the bug in a future release.
