We have installed Azure AD Connect Sync

If we have any issues with Azure AD Connect Sync, then we get the default alerts from Microsoft about it . Then why do we need the Azure AD connect Health Agent ?

    @MyAzQuery

    Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A.

    AD connect health agent is installed with AD connect. This agent not only monitors and sends the notifications regarding AD connect errors, but it also helps in getting monitoring stats of ADFS and on-premises AD servers.

    Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Connect Health provides robust monitoring of your on-premises identity infrastructure.

    The information is presented in the Azure AD Connect Health portal. Use the Azure AD Connect Health portal to view alerts, performance monitoring, usage analytics, and other information.

    Hello

    Thank you for your question and reaching out.

    Strong monitoring of your on-premises identity infrastructure is provided by Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Connect Health. It makes it possible for you to keep a solid connection to Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Online Services. By giving your primary identification components monitoring capabilities, this dependability is made possible.

    Your users are more productive when using Azure AD to authenticate since they can access both cloud and on-premises resources with a single identity. It becomes difficult to ensure that the environment is dependable so that users may access these resources. Your on-premises identity infrastructure can be monitored and analysed with the help of Azure AD Connect Health, increasing the environment's dependability. Installing an agent on each of your on-premises identification servers will do the trick.
