Bitlocker registry keys

We wondered if there is a registry key that will let us know if bitlocker is enabled or not. We noticed that there are registry keys created upon encrypting the drive, but subsequently after disabling drive encryption we see that the registry keys remain unchanged.

    Hi.

    There is a very direct way to know the status of Bitlocker. Please open the command prompt as an administrator and type:

    manage-bde.exe -status

    HI, thanks for the reply. I know that, but I need something that can be quired not via a command/process, but via the OS directly.
