    Hello Boopathi,

Thank you for your question and for reaching out with your question today.

The issue you described, where a black screen appears after the Windows loading screen on multiple Lenovo ThinkCentre M80q Desktop computers connected to HP Compaq LA2306 Wide LCD Monitors, can have several potential causes. Here are some suggestions to help resolve the issue:

    1. Check the DisplayPort connection: Ensure that the DisplayPort cable is securely connected to both the computer and the monitor. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to make sure there is a proper connection.
    2. Update the graphics drivers: Even if you mentioned updating the device drivers, specifically updating the graphics drivers is essential. Go to the Lenovo support website and download the latest graphics drivers for your ThinkCentre M80q model. Install the drivers and restart the computer to see if it resolves the black screen issue.
    3. Adjust the monitor settings: Access the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) menu by pressing the appropriate button(s) on the front of the monitor. Look for any settings related to power management, sleep mode, or input source. Ensure that the monitor is set to the correct input source (DisplayPort) and that any power-saving features are disabled.
    4. Check the power settings on the computer: Sometimes, power-saving settings or sleep mode settings on the computer can cause display issues. Open the Power Options settings in Windows and ensure that the power plan is set to a balanced or high-performance mode. Adjust the settings to prevent the computer or monitor from entering sleep mode too quickly.
    5. Test with a different monitor or cable: If possible, try connecting a different monitor to the ThinkCentre M80q using the same DisplayPort cable. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the HP Compaq LA2306 monitor or the cable. If the issue persists with a different monitor or cable, it indicates a problem with the computer's graphics configuration.
    6. Update the BIOS firmware: Visit the Lenovo support website and check if there are any BIOS updates available for your ThinkCentre M80q model. Download and install the latest BIOS firmware according to the provided instructions. Keep in mind that updating the BIOS should be done with caution, following the manufacturer's guidelines.
    7. Contact technical support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it's recommended to contact Lenovo technical support for further assistance. They will have access to specific troubleshooting steps and may be able to provide additional guidance or escalate the issue if necessary.

Try performing Clean Boot, it is different from Clean install.

When you run Clean Boot, system will run in minimum services and you may test it to one or two PCs and if problem have been solved, you may enable services one by one to identify which one causing the problem and then look for solution for all your device like deploy new update or uninstall a driver.

    Have a look at:

Also check this issue with Lenovo's support too.
