MS Editor Not Working well with CSS3 Column count property

Question

MS Editor Not Working well with CSS3 Column count property. The div generated for the wave icon is expanding each time mouse hover.

Microsoft Editor: Spelling & Grammar Checker Version v1.1.2

Replication steps:

1. go to https://codepen.io/dirtandrust/pen/mdVYzwW
2. Type something blah blah (Non Dictionary word)
3. And now u can see that right side columns are moving to left.
