Hi,

I am IT Support for the company and we received the news about the following changes that had been made by Oracle for licence purpose with Java application. I have now complete the setup intunwin file of Java into Intune, so that I can use the deployment to uninstall Java to over 1,500 devices in the company.

However, I am stuck on the issue with the install and uninstall command or process.

Please see screenshots below: User's image

The results of the status is 'Not Installed' but I can't tell if it actually succeed? I am testing on some machines.

I would really appreciate for any help with this because if Oracle decide to audit our access, we would have to pay per licence of total number of employees (substantial amount of cost) and we are keen to avoid that.

Thanks,

Aero :)

@Aero Summers Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you want to uninstall Java via intune? If there is anything misunderstanding, please correct me.

For this issue, please make sure that this device group is only added in uninstall assignment and is not added in required assignment. And then it is suggested to check if Java is successfully uninstalled on the target device.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.
