Win11 Enterprise: Altering File Explorer Settings
Hail all:
Note:_
I am looking to change the File Explorer towards the Win7/Win10 style.
I am running ExplorerPatcher, alas, these specific settings do not appear in the program.
I've been looking in Google for this, but Google, as always, gives me tonnes of half-to-non-related sites, which have hardly to none information, or barely understandable information (too much distracting stuff on the sites, like advertisements (often even blinking), in-between links or download buttons to "windows repair tools" (ROFL), etc, which, for me, having severe Asperger's and severe ADHD, are pure terror._
Sadly, my Adblock Plus and UBlock do not erase these._
I already mailed both blocker-creators, asking to fix this._
Additionally, my personal life atm is affected by situations which are beyond my control, further hampering me in my search, as it affects my concentration._
If one could be so kind, it would be helpful if someone could point me to separate Reg files (speed the process up a lot), post the separate Reg Files here (link), or give the code to them so I can make the files myself.
I know I ask a lot, for which I apologise out front, but I find myself quite stuck, and Explorer as is set up at the moment, does not really help me, stressing me further.
My sincere apologies, for this.
Thank you in advance:
Ben_
Specifically:
- Open File Explorer in Desktop when opened.
I had this before in W7 and W10, and the current setup (Home, This PC or PC Personal) just do not work for me. - Remove HOME entirely without breaking Windows.
I do not use it, and dislike it (My Asperger's that is being difficult, issue is me, not Windows.). - Remove PC Personal entirely, without breaking Windows.
I do not use it, and dislike it (My Asperger's that is being difficult, issue is me, not Windows.). - Have Application .EXE/COM/BAT/(similar execution extensions) files placed first, not DLL/(similar files).
This was the most common form displayed when using File Explorer, lately then, it seems to do all but this, and no idea on how to change it.
- Have the Folders directly under these Executables.
This was the most common form displayed when using File Explorer, lately then, it seems to do all but this, and no idea on how to change it. - File Explorer Tree (Left Pane):
Have Desktop place atop, then Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, Videos.
Followed by the Drive Partitions (A, B, C, ... Y. (Yes, I have that many partitions, having 16TB. I spliced these up to have faster responding and increased file stability/less errors, which all on large partitions are negatively impacted.)
Thank you.
