Question

Problem phenomenon:

The mail and calendar applications in the Win11 store cannot be deleted after adding an email account. After trying to delete the email account information through the registry, the email account added in the mail and calendar cannot be right-clicked for any configuration, and it cannot be deleted. .

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. I added 163 mailboxes to the mail and calendar application in Windows 11, but I entered the wrong SMTP address information of 163 mailboxes. I want to modify it again, but I found that I set it again in the mail application→manage accounts→click that After configuring the email account and right-clicking it, a pop-up window flashed past, which prevented me from modifying and adding the wrong email information.
2. So I tried to go to Account→Email and Account in Windows Settings again, trying to delete the email account I added before, but there was also a pop-up window, and I couldn’t delete it.
3. I tried to find the keywords of the email account I added in the Windows registry, found the registry information corresponding to the email name and email account, and deleted it, but after deleting it, I It is found that the email accounts originally added in the mail and calendar cannot be right-clicked for any configuration. Uninstalling and reinstalling the mail and calendar applications will not be able to perform any operations on the originally added accounts.
