( AZURE HELP) How do I start a free service?

I keep landing on an error page whenever I try to START a new service. This error page says, "We have detected that this account is associated with an existing Microsoft account. In order to continue signing up for Azure, you need to sign in with your Microsoft account."

My response to that message is this -- Of course I have an existing account, no duh! I have a full blown Azure AD tenant and am just looking to test out some of the other free services offered, but whenever I click the Start Here button I am sent into an endless loop that always ends with the above error message.

I log out of the active session and it prompts me to log right back in with the only account I have in Azure. This is the kind of mind numbing activity that drives people away from services. I mean, yes, I have an Azure account, I'm logged into it right now. But nothing I do allows me to enable, start, or create a new service under my account. I am 1 of 3 Global Administrators so permissions is not the issue.

Anyway, this is my last attempt to make Azure work for my company. I hope someone can help me understand why a fully functional Azure AD tenant doesn't qualify as "starting" the trial. The below image is what I start with:

I would like to "START" the $200 free credit option, but instead I'm here.

OK that's enough frustration for one day.

Regards,

Jeff

If you are receiving this error message when trying to start a new service in Azure, it means that you have signed up for Azure before using a differentMicrosoft account. In order to proceed with starting a new service, you will need to sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your Azure account.

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Azure sign-in page.
    2. ClickMicrosoft account. To resolve this issue, simply sign in with the Microsoft account that was previously used to sign up for Azure.

If you are unsure which Microsoft account was used previously, try logging in with any other Microsoft accounts you may have. If you still cannot log in, you may need to contact Azure support for further assistance.

Once you have logged in with the correct Microsoft account, you should be able to start a new service in Azure without encountering the same error message again.
