Hi,

We found some suggestions on accessing the status by getting hold of the one drive icon in the status bar. Is there a better way of accessing the sync status of one drive - paused, up to date etc.?

    Hi,

You can check the OneDrive sync status on your Windows desktop by looking at the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area. The OneDrive icon displays different statuses to indicate the sync status:

    • A green checkmark indicates that the files are "Up to date" and fully synced with OneDrive.
    • A circle arrow indicates that files are "Syncing" or being uploaded/downloaded to/from OneDrive.
    • A red "X" indicates that files are not syncing due to connectivity issues or other problems.
    • A blue cloud indicates that OneDrive is "Processing changes" or updating the files.

If you want more detailed information about the OneDrive sync status, you can click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar notification area. This will open a small window that shows the progress of ongoing sync activities and any errors that have occurred.

There are also third-party tools that can provide more detailed information about the OneDrive sync status, such as OneDrive Status for Windows, but using these tools is optional.
