create Application Gateway rewrite to subdomain

Hi,

I've just created some url-based-routing rules on my new Application Gateway V2

Now I want to change on 1 of these rules the url sending to the BE-Pool. (servers)

www.domain.com/help --> help.domain.com

Can anybody advise me how to fix this within a rewrite rule?

Open the Azure portal and navigate to your Application Gateway resource.

In the Application Gateway blade, click on "Rules" in the left-hand menu.

Find the rule that corresponds to the URL you want to change (in this case, "www.domain.com/help").

Click on the rule to open its configuration.

In the rule configuration page, locate the "Backend targets" section.

Within the backend targets section, you should see a list of backend pool targets associated with the rule.

Find the existing target that represents the current URL (e.g., "www.domain.com") and click on it.

Modify the URL to the desired value ("help.domain.com") in the target configuration.

Save the changes.

After following these steps, the Application Gateway will be updated to send traffic for the specified URL ("www.domain.com/help") to the new backend pool target ("help.domain.com").
