My applications are being blocked by Windows Defender Application Control and I can't seem to turn it off. I've checked Intune policies, Group Policy, RegEdit and they are have PUA disabled, but I still can't open apps that I used to able to use.AppBlock

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please double check Intune policies, Group Policy, and RegEdit settings. You may also need to check if there are any other policies or settings that are preventing the execution of your applications. Here are some additional steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check the Windows Defender Application Control policy settings on your device. You can access this by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Advanced Settings. From there, select Windows Defender Application Control and check the policy settings.
    2. Check if there are any other security software or settings, such as antivirus or firewall, that may be interfering with the execution of your applications.
    3. Use the Windows Event Viewer to check for any error messages or events related to the blocking of your applications. This may provide more information on the cause of the issue.
    4. If you are still having issues, you can try temporarily disabling Windows Defender Application Control to see if your applications can be executed. Re-enable this feature after troubleshooting to maintain the security of your device.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

1,Can we see any firewall rules about this? We can also run the gpresult command to see if there is any group policies about this.

2,If possible, we can temporarily disable firewall to have a try.

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
