Hello
We have a Windows Server 2012 R2 which has RRAS configured and we use it as a VPN server.
Is it possible to perform an in-place upgrade on this server and upgrade it to Windows Server 2019, without losing the RRAS capability ?

An in-place upgrade is supported but never recommended, a better option may be to clean install it, patch fully, add the RRAS role, restore the configuration.

Thank you for your quick response. Since you are recommending a clean install, is there any chance to keep the current VPN server up and running in parallel with the new VPN server? I am aware that if 1 location is to have more than 1 VPN server, the ports used by servers must differ, but im not sure if RRAS supports this?Thanks
Shouldn't be a problem, just run one at a time during cutover.
