Odd MRU behavior Windows 10

I have Windows 10 with Office 2021. This morning I noticed the MRU for the Excel icon was empty, and just now it contains MRU entries to files I do not have - example it has an MRU entry for meeting minutes that are not mine. I am the domain admin of my site and at a guess it looks like the MRU for one of my M365 clients.

This morning I noticed the MRU for the Excel icon was empty, and just now it contains MRU entries to files I do not have - example it has an MRU entry for meeting minutes that are not mine. I am the domain admin of my site and at a guess it looks like the MRU for one of my M365 clients.
In the clip above the 1st two are mine, the last is not my file but one from a clients M365 platform, and has never been opened by me.
What is going on?
