Dear All,

I have that issue on a few computers. First, I thought having found the solution but after a few weeks, it happened again.

We can see these folders in C:\users

User's image

It's not the know issue " We can't sign into your account" or "You've been signed in with a temporary profile"

That issue is different because users never signed with a temporary profile.
Temp folders are linked to the Built-in administrator account, which is disabled by default.

My fix was to enable that account, set a password and disable it. But for an unknown reason, we have still the same problem.
I also tried to remove in the registry, the specific profile here
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProfilList, with no avail.

Can you please help me to fix it?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
William

    hi there.

    based upon the information provided.

In a typical Windows 10 installation, you should not see multiple "TEMP" folders within the "C:\Users" directory. The "C:\Users" directory is the parent directory for user profiles on Windows, and it should contain one folder per users account.

but If you're seeing multiple "TEMP" folders within "C:\Users," it's possible that some temporary profiles or leftover folders were not properly cleaned up.

    Press windows key and r

and type %temp% and hit enter

and then select all and clean.

Use Disk Cleanup: Run the built-in Disk Cleanup utility in Windows to clean up temporary files and folders. You can access it by typing "Disk Cleanup" in the Start menu search bar and selecting the application. Once launched, select the drive where the "C:\Users" directory is located (usually the C: drive), and select the options to clean up temporary files and system files.

check if there is any malware or virus affected the pc.

    And see if it helps,

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

We have that issue on all new computers we installed from a clone file.

All temp files and folders in %temp% as well as all Temp user profile are been regularly deleted.

Disk cleanup is done once every 2 months.

There is something with local administrator user which is disabled because all Temp folders created belongs to that user.

    Another advise?

    Thanks,

    William
