Hello,

I am unable to edit e-mails settings for Reporting services service application. Every time I try to modify something under email settings it runs out with below error. I checked the ULS logs but couldn't figure out the issue. ULS logs are also attached. Appreciate your help on this.

Error Msg:

    Hi @MichaelHan-MSFT ,

I have made sure that the same account is registered under App pool and managed account. The From address is also associated to the same account and is a valid mailbox too. Do you think this is due to farm admin account?

    Hi @M. A. Y

Your email settings in SSRS is fine. You can use farm admin account for ssrs application.

For the error "The timer job completed, but failed on one or more machines in the farm", it may due to the The SharePoint Timer service not started.

Please make sure that the timer service is started in services.msc and the account of the service is a member of the Administrators group on the local computer.

    Thanks @MichaelHan-MSFT ,

The timer service was already started. I restarted it but still didn't work.

I then performed an iisreset and email delivery extension now works but every time I change some "E-mail Settings", it runs out with same error - "The timer job completed, but failed on one or more machines in the farm" and I have to do iisreset to make it work. Any clue why this happening?
