3d viewer missing and microsoft photo app from new install

HI, my new siemens laptop does not have 3d viewer or windows photo apps installed as standard. very odd. i use these daily. as a large corporation we have no access to the Store to get these. as you can imagine very frustrating but understandable. IT has been no help and just want to do a new install. this is a brand new machine and takes me around 3 days to install all my programmes etc i use. is there a direct link to download these programmes please without using the store!

Are you the administrator? You just need a Microsoft account. The Microsoft Store app may not be available if you're signed in to a local account.

Those applications must be manually removed by an Administrator since they are "Built-in" and provisioned, I would confirm that their is not a reason they were uninstalled with your IT department. Otherwise you should request the Apps be reinstalled and push to you by your IT Team. If you are an Administrator there are ways to download apps directly without using the store ,so to say, using PowerShell.

First as I mentioned above you need to confirm there is not a reason that these apps were removed. If your IT department is fine with you installing them you can use the below to bypass the Windows Store app and install apps using their URL from the Store to prevent a complete "re-imaging" process of you laptop.

I have copied the URL for the apps you requested to be used with the guide below.

You can download Microsoft Apps using the guide below to generate Appx Packages and install those, bypassing the Windows Store. To do this you will need the URL for the apps you want.

It looks you have company Domain joined computer , Please inform to your IT team as it may be blocked by some GPO or Intune policy.

Hi @Eddy, Aaron (RC-GB SI RSS-EMEA UT PRO)

This is not something that is removed from all devices, there must have been some kind of error in the OS build and policy application to the machine. Please open a Service Desk ticket with Siemens IT. They will be able to deploy these features again to your machine.
