Are Program Files and Program Files (x86) the same thing if yes can someone help me to delete one of them

    Do not delete them. They are operating system created folders. Generally x64 (64 bit) programs install to the former, while x86 (32 bit) programs install to the latter.

    No both are different. Generally on 64 bit OS also there are some application which can be installed and run as x86. Program Files (x86) is used for those applications. Microsoft kept it for backward compatibility

    Even if you try to delete you will not be able to do so. Please leave those as is
