    Hello @Soumyajit Das

In general, customers do not have the ability to choose specific hardware components like processors, RAM, and hard disks when configuring a virtual machine (VM) in a public cloud. Public cloud providers typically offer a range of VM sizes with predefined hardware configurations that customers can choose from.

However, public cloud providers do typically provide information about the hardware components used in their VMs, such as the type of processor, amount of RAM, and type of storage. This information can be useful for customers who have specific requirements or preferences for hardware components.

Additionally, some public cloud providers offer specialized VMs with specific hardware configurations for certain workloads, such as high-performance computing or machine learning. These specialized VMs may offer more flexibility in terms of hardware components.

If you have specific requirements or preferences for hardware components, I recommend reviewing the documentation and offerings of different public cloud providers to find the best fit for your needs.

Theres a certain level of control that you have, ie Intel and AMD.

There are different Virtual Machine SKUs that allow you to select it.

The same for disks, you can use Standard SSD, Standard HDD etc.

You are bound to the specific Memory/CPU memory ratio though.

Make sure you take a look at Virtual machine selector tool, its a great place to start.
