Error while modifying existing registered app

2023-06-23T08:46:20.1933333+00:00

Since few days (17th June 2023) we are experiencing an annoying error while we try to modify any parameter or configuration of our registered apps on our Azure tenant. For example, if we try to add a Redirect URI to the SPA authentication form we get the error: "Failed to update Automation Service Principal UNIUD application. Error detail: There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later. [MPEmopbLftsFbS55OyiJlo]"

Sometime later the change could be written sometimes it's not. We have read that there has been an general network issue on West Europe datacenters but after some days nothing has changed. Does anybody have experienced something similar? Are we doing something wrong? Thank you

Hi @Fabrizio Barbarino - University of Udine - Italy ,

I checked the Azure Status history page and just like you mentioned, there was an outage in the West Europe region on June 16 that may have affected your experience. Are you still experiencing the issue today?

You can check the Azure service health status directly in the portal here and check the global service health here.I could not find any recent bugs or incidents related to this problem, so I have reached out to the product team to see if they are aware of any issues that could be affecting your experience.

In the meantime, feel free to send me an email at AzCommunity@microsoft.com ("Attn: Marilee Turscak") and include your subscription ID and a link to this thread, and I will open a free support ticket to get your issue addressed.

    Thank you,

    Marilee
