How to login to Windows 2012 Server When computer login is Microsoft Account

I am setting up a new windows 10 computer. The login is my microsoft account (my EMail). Windows 2012 Server only allows basic login names ie: not @ symbols. I installed MS Office and after the reboot I can't access the server. I get the message

A Specified Logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated.

Besides resetting the computer what should I do?

Try logging on with the local administrator account.

If you don't know the local administrator password then the simplest solution may be to clean install it, patch fully, migrate roles over and move on.
