how to fix kinect v2 not working on pc

i know the tag says azure kinect but it was the only tag that had the word kinect in it, so whoever is in charge of this forum should fix that lol

my kinect v2 isnt working on my pc , it says there isnt a sensor connected. Ive tried all the things like the registry editor solution , i dont have the "lower filters" in the registry so that solution wont work. i have a v1 kinect and it works fine and this kinect v2 used to work but when i did a fresh start on my laptop now it doesnt work...
