What does the Shape Property Decorative Do?

I'm considering using the shape property Shape.Decorative in MSO (specifically MS Excel 2019), but I don't want to mess up any native functionality.
Can anyone tell me what this property is for? i.e. what native MSO functionality operate on this property? Specificaly, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint?
MS Docs is no help. From what little I can find on the web, it appears to be related to accessibility, but only when the shape/file is exported into another format (e.g. PDF or HTML) Does it do anything in conjunction with AlternativeText, maybe?
