Hi Team,

I want to migrate my exchange server 2019 to Office 365. I am a bit confused. I created a new admin account for Office 365 which is different from my exchange server admin account and while authenticating it, I get an error while adding txt records as the account I created doesn't have that domain, and it's an Outlook account so I can't txt records. Moreover, my exchange admin account cannot communicate externally as port 25 was not open for my exchange server. I can't even receive otp codes while using the same exchanger server admin account for Office 365 admin account.
Kindly assist me by helping me with the detailed step-by-step process to be followed for migrating the exchange server 2019 to Office 365.
I am confused if this is a cut-over migration method or some other method.

Kindly help me with any of the methods to migrate the exchange server 2019.

Thanks,

Sidharth

    Hi @ Sidharth Sharma

According to your description, it seems that there is a problem verifying the on-premises domain .

Just want to confirm that when you started the cutover migration, did you refer to the migration steps provided in the official and completed the preparation of the on-premises Exchange Server?
