I have a PC connected via Ethernet (192.168.1.50) to a switch. The switch is connected via cable to another router 192.168.1.1(to LAN port) - this is the internet Gateway. Printer is connected via Wifi(static IP 192.168.1.51). All devices is gateway-ed to 192.168.1.1. PC and Printer dont meet. Ping timed out.

Also tried running HP smart, but unable to detect the printer. Any ideas?

    Hello Jay Leccio,

Make sure they are on the same subnet (192.168.1.x) and have the correct subnet mask.

Temporarily disable the firewall and antivirus on your PC to see if they are blocking the communication with the printer. If the issue is resolved, you may need to adjust the settings of your security software.

You can also use the traceroute command to see where the communication is failing.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,
    Karlie Weng
